Welcome to our step-by-step tutorial on how to login to your Starlink account! Starlink is a leading satellite internet provider that covers all of Canada. By accessing your account, you can check service availability, manage your plan, view and pay your bills, and more. Follow these simple steps to log in to your account.
* If you don't have them, create your account following the instructions here.
Please note that you can't simply create a Starlink account without ordering the service first. To create an account, you must first order one of the service plans and follow the ordering process.
You will also need an account to contact Starlink customer service or purchase official accessories from their store.
A side menu will appear after clicking the hamburger menu.
Click on the 'Log In' option to access the login page.
Use the email address and password you set when ordering your Starlink service.
To log in and use the Starlink app, use the same login information as you do for the website. The email and password you use are the same for logging into the app. You can perform many of the same account functions from the app, as well as manage your Starlink system directly.
On the account dashboard, you can manage your Starlink service, order accessories, contact support, view billing statements, and more.
To create your Starlink username, you'll need:
Enter your address and click "Order Now" to check availability. Not all Starlink plans are available everywhere. Some covered areas have a long waiting list to sign up.
Select the service you want to purchase from the choices. You'll have options for Standard and High-Performance hardware. You'll also choose between Standard and Priority service. To learn more about each option, check out our article comparing Starlink plans.
Based on your address, you can either place a full equipment order or be put on the waiting list with a $99 pre-order deposit. In either case, continue entering your details to create your Starlink account.
When you complete the order by clicking "Place Order," you'll receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided. This email address is your account username. The confirmation email will contain instructions to set your account password.
If you've forgotten your password or lost access to the email account you used to create your Starlink account, follow these steps to recover your account.
Visit www.Starlink.com, then click on Log In in the menu.
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?"
Choose one of the account recovery methods. If you simply forgot your password, choose the By Email or By Phone method to receive a password reset link. If you need to change your account email, choose the By Secondary Email method.
Depending on the method you chose in step 3, you'll receive a Starlink account recovery message, allowing you to create a new password. You can now log back into your account.
To secure your Starlink network, follow these steps:
Enable WPA2 encryption to secure your WiFi network.
Enable the firewall to block unauthorized traffic.
Change the admin password regularly to prevent unauthorized access.
Enable automatic firmware updates to keep your router's software up-to-date.
You cannot create a Starlink account without ordering a kit or service. Starlink accounts are tied to a specific kit or subscription, and you will need to purchase a kit or service from a certified reseller or directly from Starlink to create an account.
If you've purchased a kit from a non-certified reseller or an individual, you need to verify the kit's authenticity and ensure it's not been previously used or stolen kit. The previous owner must transfer the account to you. If the kit is stolen, it cannot be activated, and you are out of luck. To avoid any issues, it's recommended to only purchase from certified resellers or directly from Starlink to ensure a smooth activation process.
If you're a Starlink kit owner looking to transfer your account, you'll need to follow a few steps. First, ensure you've canceled your service and paid all outstanding bills. Next, log into your Starlink account and initiate the transfer process. You'll need to confirm the transfer conditions and provide the buyer with the necessary identifiers, such as the Kit Number and Dish Serial Number. Note that you cannot transfer the equipment until at least 90 days from the activation date of your kit. Once the transfer is confirmed, the buyer can activate the equipment and start using the service. Keep in mind that the warranty does not transfer to the new owner, and they'll assume all risks associated with the used equipment.
You must be a customer and have a Starlink account to contact customer support. Starlink doesn't have a public email address or phone number. If you have a pre-order deposit, you won't be able to submit a support ticket. At this stage, tickets submitted by pre-order customers will generate an error and won't be sent successfully.
